      I am getting this error.

      Database Mirroring Transport is disabled in the endpoint configuration.
      Someone please help me.It's urgent.
      I am using same PC with 2 different intsances.
      This is how i have done it:

      Manually starting the service and then running cnfgsvr from a command window correctly configures the server.
      
      Does anyone have any hints as to why cnfgsvr is not able to start the service I'd like to figure out what on the machine is causing the MSDE install to fail.

    - transactional replication - pull subscription snapshot being applied continuously Hi
      We have setup transactional replication between 2 databases on SQL Server 2000 SP3a ;(~70GB), using a concurrent snapshot (to prevent locking out of the live database) ;to initilaise the data and a pull subscription from the second database.
      From analysing the msdistribution_history table in the distribution database on the subscriber it appears that the snapshot is being applied in a continuous loop to the subscriber database. Viewing the comments column in the msdistribution_history table we can see the following sequence ;of events occuring
      Initialising Applied script 'snapshot.pre' Then it applies all the schema files .sch Then it applies all the index files .idx The it bulk copies the data in (bcp) Then it creates the Primary Keys Then it applies all the trigger files .trg Then it applies all the referential integrity files .dri These all complete successfully but then the process kicks off again immediately after reapplying the snapshot. ; We are unaware of any settings that may be causing this.
      Any help on what maybe causing this would be much appreciated.

I need to apply the same Maintenance Plan and schedule on a hundred servers, some clustered some not clustered with multiple instances on all the servers. The maintenance plan must also be configured on the instances. I need a solution because I can not very well di all those machines touching each one manually.

      1. Is it possible to create this neat auto-generated date dimension in any other languages than english
      2. When I use the Currency format string on my autogenerated measure groups they all turn out as $, but when I use it on a calculated member it chooses the correct currency. How can I change this for the auto generated measures
      3. After creating the member, how do you define the deafult member show from the dimension. Say for example that I have DimEmpl(Code, Name). I'd like the Name attribute to be the attribute showing by default. I know this is possible while creating the dimension, but what if I want to change it later

    - using manageddts in a clr Hello,
      Has anyone been able to create an assembly that references Microsoft.SQLServer.ManagedDTS in a CLR When I try to do a CREATE Assembly [Microsoft.SQLServer.ManagedDTS] it sets off a chain of dependencies a mile long, (system.windows.forms, system.drawing, accessibility, system.runtime.serialization.formatters.soap, microsoft.sqlserver.msxml6_interop and the list goes on). I have tried creating assemblies for these manually, but they keep referencing more. I have seen a number of posts that talk about using the manageddts in a CLR, but none have mentioned this issue. When I did manage to get all of the assembies created then I got a failure in my CLR procedure because some of the assembly signitures don't match what's in the GAC, even though I am using the only version of the dll that exists on the machine and the versions match. My goal here is to be able to kick off an SSIS package from a CLR function. While the CLR interface is great it still has some issues.

      We're stuck with this. We've got a Db2 source connection and when we try 'Preview' button appears the following error:
